FALL SHOPPING LIST

I have to admit I already bought the Alexander Wang bag I've been coveting like crazy. It's being shipped in September and I'm DYING to have it right this minute.

Available for Pre-order from Satine Boutique
Trust me, this will be the ultimate "OMGILOVEyourBAG!Who'sitBY?" purse because it doesnt have any obvious label etched into its perfectly distressed leather.
So in honor of the fall pieces hitting the hottest stores, I decided to compile a list of my wardrobe must haves for fall.
Here we go from top to toe...

SATC Sets the Trends Again

How crazy is it that Sarah Jessica Parker's Dior heels that she sports in the Sex and the City movie have already spawned several knockoffs?
Photobucket
The real ones are unfortunately unavailable, but the knockoffs look just as great, though I can't promise they'll be as well made or as comfortable!
Photobucket
the REAL Dior Extreme Gladiator Platform, $770

Photobucket
The Next Best Thing- Bakers Candice Gladiator, $69.95 sadly only available in a size 5

Photobucket
Yet Another One, Steve Madden Madalynn shoe, 109.95

Photobucket
And last but not least, ASOS Leather Heavy Gladiator Sandals, £55 which are currently out of stock, but are so popular they may re-stock them!

The great studded belt SJP sports multiple times in the movie is a vintage find of stylist Patricia Field's. The belt was such a huge part of the movie that Sarah Jessica Parker said it was another character and dubbed it "Roger." The company Streets Ahead loved the vintage belt so much that they created the Roger belt.
Photobucket
$180, Streetsaheadinc.com
I found a cheap, non-leather version at Hot Topic (of course), and I also found one last year in a vintage store that I bought and fell in love with long before the movie came out.
Photobucket
NonLeather Three Row Pyramid Belt, $19

Calleen Cordero makes some really great studded belts as well, though they're more pricey than Hot Topic's classic punk version.

Photobucket
Giselle, $199, my favorite because the gold studs are so unusual.
Photobucket
Skinny 1/2", $139
Photobucket
Concha 1", $199
Photobucket
Bonitas 1", $199.00

The best of the Resort Collections 2009 Continued

I DEFINITELY have a shopping problem. And viewing such gorgeous (not to mention pricey) pieces on the recent runways doesn't help quench my thirst for hot fashion. Recent purchases: a cool white Mason dress from Bleu on La Brea, a black Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony t-shirt dress from Barneys Co-op, a See by Chloe black jumper with visible silver zippers, a red and white Marc by Marc Jacobs heart print pinafore dress, a dark blue Elizabeth and James sweetheart-neckline strapless dress with peacock feather designs on it, and of course tons of amazing thrift shop finds! I'm absolutely in LOVE with summer dresses!! Now on to the best of the resort collections!
